Grace is committed to reaching to the city of Houston. At Grace we believe that giving to others and reaching out to people who are hurting and need help is the heart of Jesus. We actively support ministries designed to feed the hungry, clothe the needy and extend the love of Jesus in practical ways.

In addition to teaming up with other leaders around the city, Grace is developing an array of compassion-based ministries called Grace Village where the needs of drug addiction, crisis pregnancy, job training, health care and other practical needs will be addressed in a setting that offers hope and help through Jesus Christ.

LifeBridge

LifeBridge is a "Glocal" missional outreach, whose vision is to impact students and their families in Houston and other metropolitan communities around the world.  LifeBridge partners with churches, businesses and local organizations to innovate missional outreach activities in the areas of recreation, arts and hospitality with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Partnerships with those who are laboring in communities in these areas, bring support, prayer and innovative ideas.  Currently, LifeBridge is focusing on Houston's East End and the Sunnyside areas of our city.

Ministry Team Members Can Participate In:

Regular Team Outreach:  Recreational, artistic and hospitality outreach to students in local community parks. 

United Focused Prayer:  Strategic prayer guides are written for team members to use before each outreach and event.

Team Training and Learning Communities

Transformational Adopt-A-School Programs:  LifeBridge is partnering with Dr. Tony Evan's "Adopt-A-School" program, to bring mentoring and encouragement to students in Houston areas.

LifeBridge Festivals:  LifeBridge hosts significant community festivals, which are an innovative catalyst to draw Houston communities together, and to encourage student growth, development and learning in "body, mind and spirit."

Church services held in various facilities in the greater Houston Area ministering to needs of inmates incarcerated at those facilities. The gospel is preached, Bible teaching, and the groups enter into praise and worship, and pray for specific needs.

Community Lights

Community Lights takes the Gospel to the people of Pasadena in the Vista Del Sol Apartment complex on Preston Street.  The team ministers to both children and adults through praise and worship and presentation of the Word of God. Crisis Pregnancy Center SE

Crisis Pregnancy Center shares the gospel with every girl who comes for a free pregnancy test. We also offer the clients a free bible. Teachings are all biblically based and centers on pregnancy care, baby care, parenting, abstinence, etc. This is an opportunity for men and women to volunteer desiring to share the hope of Jesus to a lost world.
